Hello Großfürstin Ingrid Alexie! :)

Is good to me hear that! :D Filipino is cool too. I like it! XD
BTW, I like all the languages you all post here. (I only forgot to say that in my last post ¬¬)
And yes, Portuguese and Spanish (as much European as Latin American variations) are similar in write and in speech.  ;)

Well, if you´re interested about how Czech speech sounds, you can hear me talking here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B24vJqTpvQA&feature=channel_page Don´t let it frighten you away, it is our traditional Midnight surprise, part of Shool leaving ball. I´m the girl in blue. There are English subtitles so you´ll know what´s it about :)

It feels so bad not being able to hear this for many days this was posted here.
Youtube is so bad, Ally. (It can't play your video I don't know why. same as I had with Hungarian language;until now it doesn't play)

It's so nice, Ally (but difficult, too!)
I like the "sh" sound! Thanks for it,Ally.

Siham, how do you pronounce your name?

Well, I hope you prepared yourself for a headache.
I don't have any idea how my name can be pronounced in English as it is an Egyptian/Arabic name and the pronunciation in Arabic is even different from the one in French.
In Arabic and with the latin alphabet, my name is spelled Sihem - pronunced Si-rr-hem.
While in French, it is pronounced S-ee-h-am, there's no 'rr' sound, and the 'a' sound is the French one.
I hope it helps you. :)

In Swedish;

Grand duchess: Storhertiginna
Austria: Österike

Grand duchess: Storfurstinna for the Russian title, storhertiginna otherwise.
Austria: Österrike

The names in Swedish:

Olga: Olga
Tatiana: Tatjana
Maria: Maria
Anastasia: Anastasia
Alexandra: Alexandra
Nicholas: Nikolaus
Elizabeth: Elisabet
Irina: Irene
Anna: Anna

Note: Nikolaus is a rather old form of the name, but is generally used for the Russian emperors. Nikolaus I, Nikolaus II, storfurst Nikolaus etc. More common versions of the name in Swedish are Nils and Niklas. But nobody would ever say Nils I or Niklas II. :-D

Tack! Jag har alltid funderat över detta! I vissa böcker står det storfurstinna i andra storhertiginna. Jag har sagt storhertiginna sedan jag var liten. Det beror nog på att de säger storhertiginna i den tecknade filmen Anastasia. Tack för att du rättade mig! :)
