Sorry for this is not a pic but a cheesy piece of info:
This happened when Nicholas II and Alexandra visited Vienna on the early times of their rule.

“The Empress Elizabeth of Austria, who had quite retired from Court after the tragic death of her son, the Crown Prince Rudolph, came especially to Vienna to welcome the young Empress and was exceedingly kind to her. This was the only time they ever met. Both the Emperor and the Empress fell immediately under the spell of the Empress Elizabeth's romantic personality, and never forgot the picture of loveliness she made at the State dinner at the Hofburg which took place, by the way, at five P.M., as the Emperor Franz Josef had remained faithful to the hour of his young days. The Empress Elizabeth had retained her great beauty. She was all in black, and her glorious thick hair had still kept its deep brown colour. She became very animated when talking to the Emperor and was charming.”

Quoted from Sophie Buxhoeveden’s Memoirs, Chapter VIII.

Thanks for the info. GP Shandroise, new for me :-)
Thank you very much for the photos, Specially about "Erszi" I don't
have much luck to find new ones. She was a beautiful girl!
About the draw of Winterhalter's painting, was it the original draw?
You know the one that he do, before doing the definitive painting.

Are there more paintings of archduchess Sophie (Sissi’s eldest daughter, no her mother in law)? I just have seen this famous painting, of her. And other draw, when Sissi is with Gisela and Rudolph (babies) and there is a painting of Sophie on the wall, behind them. There are other draws of Sissi with two babies, but I don’t know if they’re Sophie and Gisela or Gisela and Rudolph? She looks very young, but I don’t know who the babies are, you’ve posted all of them in this and the other threads of pics about Empress Sissi, I think that you know of which draws I’m talking about, they’re familiar portraits, in some of them appears Sissi’s parents in law, in others just with Franz Joseph, and Sissi with her two babies, If you know the answer please post it, advanced Thank You very much

You probably mean this picture:

There are Archduchess Sophie with little Gisela, Archduke Franz Karl, Elsabeth and Franz Joseph with little Sophie.

Another drawing of little Sophie and her parents:

On these family pictures is not Sophie, but I think, they have been not posted here.

I think Sisi's hair just was lighter when she was a child and then darkened naturally when she got older, and the same probably happened to Gisela. It's pretty common. My hair did that, too, it was a lot lighter when I was a kid than it is now. I've certainly never heard of Elisabeth's hair being dyed, and can you imagine how much hairdye it would take to dye all that hair and keep it an even colour all the time?

Thanks for the info. about Gisela!!
About Sissi, I don't think that she dyied her hair, but I read something like this before.
Perhaps this person based this arguments because there are some paintings of young Sissi and her
hair looks blond, one of this is the painting of her engagement, but in her photos she doesn't looks
blonde, her sisters and brothers (not including Karl Teodor) weren't blond... Were they?

One question more. Do you know if Sissi lost some of her tooth? I read one page that said that she
lost many of her tooth, for that reason she avoided to smile
