Sisi's beauty is more like Audrey Hepburn. She was more girlish than womanly. Anyway Alix of Wales also fall under that catagory. Both of them were quite flat chested.

Sisi kept more her beauty for herself than for others. That's why she was so obsessed with thinness. She cultivated her beauty but hated the look of others, a strange paradox but common among people who attract much attention.

I know that, but i dont understand why Sissi, if she  wanted to be beautiful, did the opposite to reach the "ideal of beauty"

If you see nude painting of the era, Pictures of some of the gorgeous women of the era,  risque photographs and vaudeville actresses, you will see how wrong was Sissi in her point of view about "beauty ideals"
She wasn't like the majority of XIX century women, many of her ideas weren't common in her time, and
her ideal of beauty was other of this

of course, no one in early XIX century would thought about anorexia and being obsessed with being ultra thin.

Sisi had a grace of just her own. The way she walked and talked suggested enchantment.

Well...How could you be fat and dumpy and still be enchanting ? Looking at her sister Nene in her later years might have led to Sisi redouble her efforts.

Oh my... a woman can have curves and still have grace and elegance, for example Empress Eugene of France, a chic woman of her decade with meat in her bones.

Charm , style and other things doesnt go away with  a couple of  pounds more.

I agree. Curves are stylish. I do not like too fat people, but nor the ones who are all bones under the skin...Ugh.

Well...Audrey Hepburn & Twiggy were both thin and elegant and so was Olga & Marina of Greece. As Duchess of Windsor said "No woman can be too thin or too rich !" Sisi knew that to be sylish, she had to remain thin.

As long as we know, none of the woman you had mentioned had "Obssession" for being thin.

Yikes, I know plenty of people that are fat and dumpy and are still very enchanting!!! Being enchanting has NOTHING to do with weight!!
None of us has met the Empress Elisabeth in person, we only go by what is put out there, so please.

Last moments together of Franz Josef and Elisabeth between public life and intimate moments. See this couple together, yet so ill-matched, after so many years together, still as moving :
