I hope that this portrait of young Sissi wasn't already posted, really I don't remember to see it before.

This is similar than the other....

She looked very thin in the face when they are painted. Sisi later have a much fuller face as shown in the Winterhalter portraits.

Yes, in fact she looks different than the traditional paintings of Sissi.
She looked even more fuller on the portraits that were painted of Sissi as a maturer one

Two portraits of Sissi with a hungarian traditional dress.

In the second one her face looks more similar to the features of the two portraits below.

Yes, I've seen just a photo of Fanny Felifalik (or Angerer) standing next to a mirror, and it's true
that they looked so similar, I would like to know how didn't they noticed that she wasn't the real Empress?
In fact she had a lot of patience, like to do the hairdos in three hours or to dedicate a complete day to
wash the really long hair of the Empress, of course, she received a high salary for this difficult labour :-S

It only works in places where the Empress was not seen before. It greatly amused Sisi who would be in the exact town sight seeing at the same time uninterupted.

It wouldn't functioned nowadays, in that days was more possible to believe that some people hadn't
seen any photo of the Empress to think that Fanny was

Yes. But remember in those days, the photos of Sisi were illustrations from Newspapers. They were not clear or accurate.

Yes, it's true, in fact as an older lady, her portraits were based on the ones that were made of her
as a younger lady, the artists just made sure to make her to look older, acordding to her age when they
were painted.

Yes. In later times she was always in black and veiled.

Sissi even did that because she disliked the curious persons, even more  when she was older, for
that reasons are the funny photos as the one when she is covering her face with an enormous fan
while she is ridding a horse

Indeed, she became Empress for having a beautiful face, not for other reason. She could use it
for control some of FJ desitions, but she rarely did it.
