I have never seen any of these and HIGHLY doublt they exist. There is a photo of Nicky's cousin, Prince Alfred of Edinburgh, with their grandmother Maria Alexandrovna. This is the only picture I have seen of either her or her husband holding a grandchild.

The lock of Nicky's hair is actually still preserved I think. I saw a picture of it in an exhibition catalogue once. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?

Yes, as far as I know it is still preserved. At least I know they survived the Communists. I have the catalogue but not here at school with me so I don't know what museum it is in exactly.

There's a photo of this piece of Nicky's hair in "The Romanov's-Love power and tragedy" page 35. The little envelope which is in Alexandra's handwriting says: "Nicky's hair when three years old".
The book says this piece of hair is used in the attempt to indentify the Tsars remains. It doesn't say where the envelope with the hair is kept today.

I wanted to ask, in a letter that was published in A Lifelong Passion, Nicholas makes mention of Alix' request of a bust of him as a baby. He replied that there were two in existence, one each that belonged to his parents "at Anitchkov". Does anyone know if these survived, or are still preserved?

The first picture in my posts is of a French postcard that I bid on, but sadly didn't win on eBay. Don't know anything about the original work, but if anyone here does, I would be grateful for any information.
