Hi Ang,

Here is the quote I told you about.  Alyosha said to Olga:

"I enjoy the sun and the summer...Who knows whether one of these days I shall not be prevented from doing it?"

I'll look for more at home, because I'm at school's comp lab and ahve no resources available.  Hope this helped a bit.

I know I have posted here already, but I found another quote for you.  This one is so innocent and shows what type of person he was and what kind of Tsar he may have been.  

"When I'm Tsar there must be no one poor or sad.  I want everyone to be happy".

The quote was taken from Elizabeth's signiture.

OK...third time I'm posting here on this thread.  Seems like I can't remember all the quotes at one time.  Here it goes.  This one is just too cute.  The source of this one is also Elizabeth.  She posted it way back in June and asked me to translate it.  Aleksey said it to Dr Botkin.

" I love you with my whole little heart."

I hope I got the wording correctly.  I'll check and if it's wrong, correct it.

The reason why Alexei Nikolaevich may have been on a diet may have been that since he was feeling ill his doctors prescribed a restricted diet.  He was known to have stomach trouble.

Alex he doese look kind of chubby in that picture! but we could be wrong. The camera doese sometimes change peoples apperance! (i'm not sure if i spelled that correctly)

And i also heard that when Alexei got one of his Hemophila attacks in arround 1915 and 1917 he lost weight and became very skinny!
