I think it's just because of the bad lighting. Both of those pictures were taken indoors and there wasn't a lot of lighting, thus the darker images.

usually when u look at a picture of a woman or a lady what ever you want to call her, she usually looks like their mom. Olga looks nothing like her mom, she looks more, well i don't know how to put it, but, uptight. And all the pictures of OTMA the girls all look different then each other, like they dont look like sisters.

Well, in earlier pictures, I'd agree that Olga didn't really look like Alexandra. But once the war started, especially more towards the end, Olga aged very rapidly, much like Alexandra did after Spala. After that, I see a lot of Alexandra in Olga. Olga was put through mentally stressful situations because she was pretty much the only one of the whole family who knew what dangers the family was in and that it was more real than even Nicholas thought. And there was her "nervous breakdown" when she was nursing. These are the probable reasons why she looked uptight in many of her later pictures. Here's a pic that shows her looking like Alexandra. It was taken in 1916 (sorry it's so dark). Olga is seated, and Tatiana is sitting on the arm of the chair.

If the photo was taken in 1916, she would have been 20, or 21 if the photo was taken in November or December.
