Both of them appear in quite larger and fuller versions, at Beinecke Library Albums of Anna Vyrubova.
Thanks, Nena. I found it in the second album, which is for some reason labeled #3. I'd overlooked it the first several times due to the background but have now decided it is my favorite.
Grand Duchess Ally very kindly supplied a colorized version. I have both saved to my hard drive. The black-and-white scan from Beinecke is 768 x 598, 49 KB, and the color is 615 x 480, 39 KB. The color is MUCH better-looking and easier to see details. My issue now (I don't say problem) is enlarging the part of the image to the size I need without losing resolution! When I make it, that is, the size on the screen that I would want the print to be, it starts to pixillate. I'd like to find an editing program to smooth parts of the image, even just fill in dots of color here and there. Unfortunately I have not so far happened across one I can understand and use but will continue to look.
