Ok I know this is probably not the right place to put this post, but Kola was Alexei's friend and I have to ask this question:

I know probably all of you seen the cover of "Fate of the Romanovs" and on the cover picture Nicholas, Tatiana, Olga, Maria, Anastasia, Alexei and infront of them a little boy is standing, is that little boy Kolya Derevenko?

I was on some Russian site about Alexei and underneath that photo it said: "In the foreground-Kolya Derevenko (son of the family doctor Derevenko), the best friend of the Tsesarevich"

I thought that was their cousin or something not Kolya!

No, the young man next to Tatiana was another of Grand Duchess Xenia's sons - Prince Nikita.
