Wow! Never seen that one before.  8)

I'd guess it was taken at Tsarskoye Selo, but I really don't know for sure....

I don't think that pic was taken at Tsarskoe. I believe it was taken at Mogilev. I kinda see the Imperial Train at the background. There's also a cannon behind them. I say this because there are pics of Alexei by himself with the tree and a cannon at Mogilev right about 1916. He even got a picture taken of him sitting on the trunk of the tree.

I assumed the object in the background was one of the Tsarskoye pavillions, but you may be right that it's the train. You're definitely right about that cannon.

What about this picture:

Mogilev 1916, or Tsarskoe Selo 1917?
Perhaps rare?  Or maybe 1915? Sarushka, where are you?  ;D
Or can anybody else say me which year?

Isn't that the "ferry" over to the children's island?  I would have no idea what year it was taken though.

Arleen is absolutely right -- it was taken in Tsarskoye Selo just across from the children's island. I don't know what year, though. Probably 1915 or later.

What about this one?

Which year and where? Tsarskoe Selo? 1915?

I think that was at Tsarskoye Selo, but I don't know the year. I would guess during the war because I think he's wearing his army uniform instead of a sailor suit.
