Maria looks like Olga to me!

 

Her front teeth gap makes her look cuter!

I had the exact same reaction to Marie's little tooth gap, GD Shandroise.  She made even her  apparent slight flaws adorable!

Try as I might, I do not see Alix in Maria at all. In all her children her features mixed with others but still managed to "come victorious" somehow, but Maria, in my view, had nothing from her mother´s side at all. It was all Romanovs and Danish branch of the broad family in her face and body structure.

Indeed, I always think she resembles Dagmar.

This photo is just too beautiful. All the girls look so pretty.

It is always in the photos from war times that I notice just how beautiful Anastasia was starting to become and how grown up Maria was!

Apologies if this has been discussed. All my life I've seen this photo labeled as Maria and Anastasia, but no matter how hard I look I can't see Maria in the top girl's face. Helen Azar's latest book has it labeled as Olga and Anastasia. This seems more likely. Thoughts?

I would say it's Maria. Here's another photo that seems to be taken in the same day. Hope it helps.
