Amazing photos! Maria must have been stunned to have her photos taken while painting and posed once she realised what was happening (I believe we all do this when someone takes our photo unexpectedly?), and I believe she's blushing as she shows her painting of the flowers in front of her. We hardly see photos of the Romanovs taken straight after one another, so this is most pleasing!

I made some sort of noise when I saw it; I had seen Tatiana's about but I never thought about Olga, Maria and Anastasia having those kind of pictures taken, pity the watermark goes over her face, which they could have moved it just a little to the side. I just need to see O and A's now.

The watermark on the photo is clear that it came from GARF, the National Archives of the Russian Federation.
