Would someone translate the top line? I can read the bottom one! lol Thank you!

His Imperial Highness the heir (first line)
Cesarevich and Grand Duke (litt: Grand Prince) Aleksej Nikolaevich.

:)

It's still strange to see Russian written in pre-rivolutionary spelling... i should be used by now, but on the contrary it still seems odd, LOL.

I believe it says "His Imperial Highness Naslednik Tsesarevich and Grand Duke Alexei Nikolaevich." :)

Do you have a date for that photo? His hair looks so short, I wonder if it's during house arrest in 1917.
