Please, I think thread like this should be in Nicholas' and Alexandra Feodorovna's section too.

I don't know where to ask if this is real Nicholas? I am not sure.

I don't know... I mean, it looks like Nicholas, but I just don't think it's Nicky. I could be wrong though. : - / I hope somebody will be able to tell for sure.

Actually, I have just noticed, it is an actor who played him in one documentary. Good point.

I came across about the same photo event. Archive labels this one certainly to be Nicholas II :

Is this correct ? I am willing to believe and almost sure that this is Nicholas. ;-)

Good point. I think the man's hairline resembles George's rather than Nicholas'. ...

I felt certain that this photo was remarked on before, especially the hairline (probably the #3 Post here of "Sarushka"). I believe the consenus is that it is NOT the actual Nicholas II, and I personally DO NOT believe that this could be George V (though they were sometimes mistaken for each other, even in their lifetimes). IMO, there is just something "too clear and polished" about this photo, marked "Czar Nicholas II after Easter Mass in Saint Petersburg," (and before that, his birthdate is given). AP

I don't know..sometimes it seems to me is Nicholas II, but most of the times, I believe he is not. But of curse he is not George V...What could be he doing with an Orthodox priest in such a friendly attitude?

since the label on the photo reads "movie", my vote is actor.
