It can be surprisingly difficult to dig things like this out of the online Russian archives. I just wish I could order copies of photos from them for my own records...alas defeated by the Russian text...

what great pictures Svetabel. Thanks for sharing them. Princess Maria Goltisina looks like she was lady in waiting to both Marie and Alexandra from her pin, and it also looks like an early colour photo which is amazing. Do you know if it is one? The painting of Maria Petrovna is also interesting, especially as she is holding her koshnick rather than wearing it. Both good finds
