Sadly, the original painting's location is unknown, and the colour version is only a hand coloured photograph...

Thank you for the close up with Koppay´s signature! I thought that it was the original verssion of the painting, is a great pity to know that it really isn't. I expect that it is simply lost and one day it can be found as many other portraits, in the worst of the cases it was destroyed by the wars and it would be a great lost!
