To be technical, as a non-royal duchess by marriage, the Duchess would have merited a ducal coronet.

Definitely not a crown! As the Duke was no longer king, he didn't merit a crown either!

This is true, Ann.
 But, a  stationer will print anything one pays  for.
 Plus, I think her's were French anyway, so they would not care.
 In looking through her auction catalogue, she had everything monogrammed [cypherd] except the toilette paper. And I am not so sure about that, it just was not in the catalogue.
