Hey guys I'm new here and have been fascinated by russian history and in particular the final days of the Romanovs for years now, and I've seen a few movies on the subject. The best IMO is Rasputin: Dark Servant of Destiny, even if the subtitle is cheesy the film is very well done (it was made for TV) and it has a few historical inaccuracies but unlike Nicholas and Alexandra, the portrayal of Alexei Romanov is spot on in my opinion and Alan Rickman as Rasputin is nearly flawless.
So My question is, years ago I heard about a new film coming out but it never seemed to materialize. So has anyone heard anything about new films, TV or Hollywood, covering this subject? I'd love to see a modern, up to date adaptation.
