Well my tips are for dresses and ribbons and such i use 30 opacity or bit more ....but for hairs and faces i use 19% and slowly and calm i do the faces 90% without to ruin the whole image

I'm such a lurker-- my last account got deleted because I never posted!!-- but I've been around the boards since 2005/6......this is the first colorized pic I've deemed good enough to share! I've done good modern ones, but I've never been able to do a realistic looking older photo, so I'm proud of it, and I'm sure I'll be posting more!

It's really interesting to see the different takes on the photos, as well, with the different ribbon colors and such from this session! Was there any definitive note of what color they actually were?

angie, great work on a VERy difficult pic to colorize

A quick one and not so happy with the result, even more when i dont know how was the real colour  of the uniform (i investigated about german uniform of  WWI and this one was based of one i saw)
