Just noticed I got the e-mail notifying me of the shipment just this Monday, to have received the book yesterday (I only picked it up today at the post office) in 4 days is incredible! Makes me wonder why getting stuff from the U.S. sometimes takes 2-3 weeks LOL

Yay, got the book in the mail today! That was pretty fast considering where it's coming from. I am so pleased that they came through, everything is perfect and what a great price.

The reason for the delay. All mail goes to Canada by airmail.  The delay is not on the US side.  The delay is due to books spending time in Canadian customs, and then being put into the Canada postal system.   Canadian customs is notorious for holding stuff.

Well my payment cleared - so I am assuming that the book is on its way.

I did get the May 11 notification about shipping, but they must have delayed because of the mix up in information.

Thanks to Laura Mabee, I had a chance to browse through this album firsthand this afternoon. It's a very attractive volume -- nicely bound, good quality paper, and a great many photographs were new to me. I would expect any devotee of Grand Duchess Ella to be very happy with it.

Definitely recommended.
