THANKS Brian!!!!!!!!!!!

These plans and pics are gorgeus.
Do you know where MF's bedroom was? I think on the ground floor, but I am not sure, I'd like to know your opinion.
well, looking at the position of the windows & doors in the fotos of the "study of Alexander III", that room is the room that projects out into the garden on the right side of the palace; and given his habit of being as out of reach as possible to assassins (look at his choice of rooms in Gatchina as an example....what assassin would think of looking for the tsar of Russia in those tiny rooms?), i would imagine his study would have been on the first floor. my guess re: MF's (& A III's) apartments, would be series of rooms to the right of central Salons, facing the garden, on both the ground & 1st floors. since MF & A III shared the same bedroom, but not their personal rooms (ie: dressing rooms, studys, etc and they
may have had their own bathrooms), their distribution would, necessarily, be spread-out over both floors.
but i have no idea which one would be the bedroom!

btw
gleb, did you see that i posted the
ground floor of the Beloseslky-Belozersky palace (aka: the Sergeievsky palace & the Dmitrievski palace) ? (i quoted, in the
Belosesky-Belozersky palace thread , your post from the
Ella's palace thread.)
