Empress Alexandra's Suite

In Greg King's Book "The Court of the Last Tsar" he talks about the Empress Suite. I am just a little confused on the order of the positions. I know the lowest was that of the "freilina" or the "maid of honor" and the highest was that of the "dames a' portrait" . But where dose the "kaval' er-dami" or "dames of the Order of St. Chatherine" fall in to place.

If anyone knows the order of the Positions/Ranks from Highest to Lowest, it would be a great help to me.
