Yes King George the V and Nicholas Romanov looked quite alike their mothers being sisters...But there the resemble fizzled out ,,,whereas Georgie was devoted to May (Queen Mary) he had his stamps and his own personal image espescially in war time to think of ,, him being German in an English world and all that you know .....Nicholas II on the other hand was a remarkable and courageous man who did not fear death as he and his grandfather were praying in a chapel at Peterhof a blaze of lightening went through the room and neither one moved the on rush of light, plus Nicholas II was passionatly in love with his Sunshine Alix ...<3 pamela seana

The last photo really deserves a comment - what a great resemblance between them two there were!

Of course they were! But Nicky's eyes were so sweet...I know which of them two they are when I watch their eyes. king George's face also was a little more plump than his Russian cousin's one.
