Help to specify time and a photo place?

Это бетонное покрытие корта?
This concrete covering of court?

Это правильно, Nemos. Фотограф идет ни в 1904 или 1905 в Санкт-Петербург.

I thought the tennis picture of NII was taken in Livadia. The tennis court near Feodorovsky Sobor was built during WW1 (If I remember correctly) and the picture seems like it was taken pre WWI. Did NII even have the time or energy to play tennis at Tsarskoe during the war?

Данное фото сделано в Царском Селе или только фотографом из Царского Села, где-то в другом месте?
The given photo is made in Tsarskoje Selo or only by the photographer of Tsarskoje Selo, somewhere in other place?

This is going back quite a way, but I think the uniform Nicholas is wearing in post 131 is from the Royal Scots Greys, and taken during the visit to Balmoral in 1896. Bear in mind that, then as now, a regiment has several different 'orders of dress' and they may well look quite different. The Greys uniform he is wearing in the Serov portrait is full dress (which, with the bearskin) looks very much like that worn by the Foot Guards).

I don't think it can have been taken in 1890 because Nicholas didn't have close links with Britain then, and I think he had yet to grow a beard and still just had a moustache.
