Favourite names?

as for a boy
 i absolutely love the name Aleksei
but my fiance told me i can only name a boy aleksei if he can name a boy anakin >_< lol

LOL.  My partner (yes he is my boyfriend) said "When we have kids, I want our kids to have our initals and one to have WWW"  I was like um okay.

If I ever have a boy (a looooooong time from now) I'd like to name his Alexei as well, but for now I'll have to wait. But one of our out door cats had kittens and I was able to pick one of them up earlier, so I named him or her (we're not sure what it is yet) Alexei! It's so tiny and adorable!

If it is a girl hun you can call her Alexis :-)  I so love cats.

Yup! I was thinking of that as I named him/her, so either way really it is still kinda in honor of Alexei.    We just found another one and my brother decided to name it orange thunder  not so happy about that one.

I'm definitely not giving any of my children any common names. It's just so boring and unoriginal.
I love Victorian/Edwardian era names. Plus, I want their names to be after people and have some kind of meaning behind them.

My mother gave me my fathers first name, James, as my middle name and my half sister has her fathers first name as her middle name as well. She thought it would make us stronger women. We both love our middle names and I will definitely carry on that tradition if I have girls.
