Couldn't find half my books since I'm in the process of moving. Those are all my newer ones. Of course, I have the books by Massie and King/Wilson. Somewhere...

Random things. Hand-painted brooch of Anastasia/icons of Nicholas and the family I got in Russia/OTMAA calendar/map of Tsarskoe Selo I got in Tsarskoe Selo/tickets to palaces/AnastasiA music box/postcard of OTMAA from friend/postcard of Nicholas II and cousin from Greg King/flyer from exhibition I went to/CD of liturgy devoted to Tsar Nicholas II and his family I got in Valaam/etc.

Icons.

Sugar packets from Tsarskoe Selo I took and a rock I found in front of the Alexander Palace.

Very nice collection. Beautiful icons. I'm envious of the Anastasia music box. They are so expensive now...makes me wish I would have held on to mine

Yeah, they are. I got mine for my 13th birthday as a gift but I'm sure you could find one on eBay sometime for cheaper. I also have the other music box from AnastasiA. The one with Anastasia holding the dog and it plays the other popular song.

LOL. You guys are cute. You guys are giving my collection an ego!
My collection isn't that impressive! But I love what I have, and would love to share. I think I'll take some photos tomorrow :D

Holly! NEAT! I don't recognize the CD or exhibition pamphlet. That's AWESOME. May I ask what the CD is?
I also recognize those clear DVD covers! Which documentaries/movies do you have?

You should recognize. ;]

I have:
Films:
Nicholas & Alexandra
The Lost Prince
Romanovy: Ventsenosnaya Cemya
Rasputin
Documentaries:
Nikolai i Aleksandra
A&E: Anastasia
A&E: Nicholas and Alexandra
The Fall of the Romanov Dynasty
Anastasia: Dead or Alive
Finding Anastasia
Nikolai Romanov/Aleksandra Feodorovna
The Vanishings
The Romanovs
Romanovs: In Search of History
The Revenge of the Romanovs
Ancient Mysteries: Secrets of Romanovs

The CD is called Ce Tsar Vash. It's a liturgy sung by young people and it's dedicated to the imperial family. All the pieces are about them. It's BEAUTIFUL. One piece is a prayer and it's simply "Olga, Tatiana, Maria, Anastasia, Alexei" sung over and over. It's very haunting. Another says it's from writing of Olga Nicholaievna. The CD has a picture of the singers posing at the monastery built where the remains were found and the booklet has pictures of the family and quotes by them.

(I would be willing to share some of the music if anyone is interested, PM me your email!)

Okay! So I set out today to take a picture of my collection/books.
I didn't get very far, I have to admit the lazy bug bit me after about an hour or so. SO! I managed to get photos of most of my collection outside of books. There are a few things that are missing, but here is a bunch.

I also have to say, this colleciton didn't come out of nowhere. If it wasn't for the AMAZING people at the AP, I honestly wouldn't have what I do.
I would say about 80% of my collection are from the kind souls here. I don't know if you want me to say who you are, but you know who you are !

So without further ado, here is some of my stuffs:

- The artwork in this photo was done by our very own Lisa and BlessOTMA
This is part of my Romanov movie/documentary collection. I have much more digitally, which I really can't take a photo of on the table :P I also have some special treasures on the movies that I pulled out after I took the other images, so I added them to here. It's the 1913 Coin, and Postage from NII's days (it's AI, NI, and NII).
- These are magazine clippings on the Romanovs. A few on the table, the rest in the binder. Got close up of binder for thickness.
- Newspaper Clippings.
Map of Petrograd in 1917, plus a city index. Also a current map of Pushkin.

I plan on taking more photos tomorrow

I've already told you this but -- DAAAANG.

The only thing I have in that collection is the Life magazine with OTMA & Alexei on the cover.
I got a lot of stuff from people here as well.

I applaud you and your collection.

I'm going to have to quote Holly on this....DAAAANG!!

That is very rich collection of movie/postcard/clippings that I have seen. I hope to get a glimpse of your book collection. I have the impression it's going to be sight. Thanks for posting images of your collection and I look forward to your next posting.
