For those interested, here's a link to my poetry.com profile. Many people have PMed me about it, so I'll just post it here.
I'd say about 1/8 of the poems are about the Romanovs. More poems are typically added daily.

To the Romanovs' Murderers

I wonder what on earth
Transpired within your mind.
What lunacy could ever
Render anyone so blind?

It's for a noble cause, you say?
That it was well deserved?
In the minds of only scoundrels
Would that notion be preserved.

When their bodies hit the floor,
When their children's lives concluded,
Did you ever realize
That it was YOU who was deluded?

They truly tried to help
They only wanted what was best
And I wonder, savage killers,
If to that, YOU can attest.

Based on a picture of Tatiana and Alexandra on a carriage:

Time's a deadly disease that's infected us all
Yet a beautiful passage of memories
It creates and destroys
Transforms life just as fast
As the leaves are dyed red in the fall

They jaunt in a carriage maneuvered by mares
A family in lost days of yore
From the decades of past
Yet they're not so unlike
Every innocent seen anywhere

We all share the same lovely fantasies
Of life, now and after we spirit away
We love and we hate
We laugh and we cry
As the days of our lives become memories

Yeah, Katie, I doubt those murdering thugs gave a damn.  I hope they're enjoying  burning in Hell.

This was a nice one, Katie.  Of course, it included my favourite GD, Tatiana.

You said it, Tim. I certainly don't imagine them resting in paradise...

May I ask why she's your favorite? Just out of curiosity.

Truth be told, Katie, I honestly don't know why.  She just always has been.

Hmm. Well, when I see pictures of her, she just looks so poised and elegant, fit to be a royal. Perhaps that's why?

I'll bet if you polled Romanov enthusiasts on who their favorite Grand Duchess is you'd get a pretty even split between the four. I'd be surprised if any of them finished with less than 20% or more than 30% of the vote.

I've read some of the "favorite Romanov" threads and it seems like Olga N. is favored for her melancholy demeanor. My favorite GD, though, would have to be the impish Anastasia (hence my username). But I adore the whole family.

Here's a link to a poll I made (for all 7 family members) if anyone is interested in voting. I'm interested to see the results.

Neat poll there AA. Hopefully a lot of people will cast their votes.

Of course listing all seven members and not just the girls is going to alter the results some. There are a number of Alexei diehards on here that might prefer one Grand Duchess over the others but will end up casting their vote for the Tsarevich instead.

I guess the only way to measure true popularity would be to issue some type of instant-runoff ballot where voters could rank each family member in order of preference. Alexandra, for example, could wind up with more first place votes than a Nicholas or Tatiana, but she'd also more than likely have the most last place votes pulling down her overall average and giving you a more accurate view of her true popularity (or lack thereof).

About Alexei:

Dressed as a skipper
In navy and white
Though he has no canoe
He still sails to the light
For as one life concluded
Another began
Though they looted his treasures
He's found them again
Where has he journeyed?
No mortal can say
Yet I know we should all strive
To meet him someday

Okay, my poems are totally hogging the thread now. Anyone else have any?
