Russian Orthodox Church is against any cloning, but in science way of speaking, I am not sure. Maybe...

That is um bizzare, no offence.  I am sure they would not remember their old life.    They will just be people.   It's like saying should we clone Geobbels, Himmler and Enichmann so they can start the holocaust all over again.  Of course that wouldn't happen. lol.
As they wouldn't remember their former lives.

That is quite the thought!  Oh my.

They would be clones but they wouldn't remember.  I think they'd have the same mannerisms and such.  It wouldn't be a very good idea because the Romanovs were so famous and, well, imagine someone telling you who you are suppose to be!  I think it'd be very stressful on the cloned individual.

In any case, very interesting idea.  (:

They wouldnt be the same if they were cloned.
They would just have all the same genetic makeup...they wouldnt be the real Romanovs.
cloning has nothing to do with memory..unless memories are placed into their conscious, over time...but still it wouldnt be the same.
They might look and talk and seem like the real deal...but it would only be replicas of their bodies..

I think that it would be a bit weird to have a Nicholas II walking around today or a Olga N. wearing skinny jeans - (bet you've got that imagine in your head right now?  :D )

Also as XJaseyRaeX said they would have differnet/no memory of their original clone. They'd only look like there person- but then I suppose it would be interesting to see them in '3D'.

They most certainetly would not be e same, i have studied child development, a person developement is influenced by two things, their hereditary factors and their environment, the environment covers encounters with our families, freinds and our living environment, theywould nothave thesame people around the would nothave hadthe same experiences, they would be very different{or so i beleive}
