An excellent post, W-K. Very funny, I can just imagine it. I too would be rolling in the aisle
po3a:
I love that story too! It is funny and shows us all, that these royal people were human and not just pictures in a book.

Where did you find this drawing? Are there more drawings on other rides? I am very excited ----thanks so much for finding this.

You are welcome.
I found the drawing in a book about the Danish RF. No, that was the only drawing of the royals on a ride. The drawings were to illustrate the relaxed life that Alexander III enyoyed in Denmark.
Here is one where he is playing with the younger members of the family.
Belochka:
Hi kmerov!
Do the two drawings you posted here come with any details such as the artist's name and the year when they were drawn?
They are really splendid and new to me. Many thanks for sharing them.

kmerov:
Hi Margarita.
You are welcome. No, I don't have the name of the artist, but they were made in either 1885 or 1886.
Here is another drawing. It was made to illustrate the day Alexander incognito travelled from Fredensborg to Copenhagen. He went shopping in the city with among others Princess Toria of England in a hired cap, and gave a vey large tip to the driver. Back at Fredensborg the Russian and Danish police had a busy day looking for the missing emperor.
