Don't worry RM,  I think the rest of us here are like o.O at Andrea's post.  As I said in my post on this thread  about girls being obsessed with OTMA and Andrea's post took it to another level.  LMAO. (Not trying to be rude it is just amusing)

Yes I might have been obsessed with photographs of OTMA and their style but it didn't last that long other things took up my mind such as studying and watching Xena Warrior Princess for the  subtext.     I was in my midteens haha.  I think the worst OTMA obsession thing I had was when a friend made me a birthday card from "OTMA".

Although my love for the IF still remains it  just a love of interest and history nowdays.  Plus chatting with you guys.  Now  Being in my mid 20s my "obsession" is with my partner  He is the real love in my life now : D

DVD's still have the old costume that's only kinda still fits that i wore once for halloween... i had a magazine once don't know what the heck ever happened to it!

You know that you're obsessed with the Rv's when you go to History Channel or National Geography or etc, and hope that there's a documentary about them !! But sadly there isn't any... But probably in July there will be, we are almost there !! Heheh !

When you're in a class where your teacher tells you to go browse Wikipedia to get ideas for research paper topics, you see a kid in the row in front of you looking up Russian History so you just watch what he's doing instead of actually doing it yourself. But then you keep going "No, don't click that!" as he gets further away from Nicholas II's era. Eventually he started a whole class discussion about Rasputin... lol.

When you read Little Women, just the fact that it was about four sisters made you think of the characters as OTMA. They do king of match up with their personalities, but not in correct age order, I think... in Little Women, it goes MJBA, but I think Meg = Olga, Jo = Anastasia, Beth = Maria and Amy = Tatiana. And their next door neighbor Laurie is Alexei.

*When you are given pocketmoney or have little money on you and  you see a Romanov book at a bookstore or booksection, you have the HAVE it.
  (12 years ago during Christmas season I was given $20 to buy gifts.   I found A Lifelong Passion and had to think presents or book.  Book won in the end and it cost me $20 lmao.  I still got it, dogeared, stained from much love and use.   I got a hard cover of it aswell.  It is the "good" copy.")

*When you see a faberage imitation or style of egg and you really want it because it was what Nicholas gave to the family during easter.   Recently I saw an imitation Faberage egg when open it had a slit for a ring (came with a tacky ring) it was beautiful but for $95 I had to bypass it.

lol, true. I really only read the first part because it was assigned for school, when they were still children, but our teacher told us how it ended.

I love that book--but only the part while they're still children. It gets a little less interesting for me after that.
