YKYOWTRW...You are reading a book series called 'The Exiles' by Hilary Mckay, and realise that she must have known about OTMA when she was writing this, because the main characters are four sisters who all love reading, Ruth, the serious one, Naomi, the civil one, Rachel, who is always eating and is boy-mad, and Phoebe who is impish and boyish!

YKYOWTRW....when you are on the bus , listing to your i-pod and  suddenly you think of a particularly photo, in this case the one of the big pair in their nurses uniforms in the hay field...funny one,  that...and you start tearing up. Because  helped by the music, their dearness  and their fate mixes in ones mind even more potently than usual .

Here's the photo...perhaps they went for a drive after a hospital shift ...I was listening to some  movie sound track or classical piece .... music alters your thinking and mental images can have greater impact on one. This photo popped up,  and there was no defence.

You know you're obsessed when you forgot that they aren't really common knowledge, and most people wouldn't know who they were if you casually dropped them in to conversation. At work today I saw a girl with her mother that looked a LOT like Tatiana, and I really had to fight the urge to go "You look just like Tatiana!" because I realized that she would have no idea who I was talking about, and it would take far too long to explain.

YKYOWTR'S when you see people in not so typical dresses and you think: "-Oh, she/he is dressed like a Romanov" or "-Oh! Romanovish"!
