Haha...I've got one! Probably I'm the only one who's done this.

I collect American Girl Dolls (yes still lol) and dressed up four of them to be OTMA:

(It's supposed to be left to right Maria, Tatiana, Anastasia, Olga. They don't look extremely like them though!)

I bought a doll from a thrift shop just because she looked a little like Alexandra.

Those are so cute, RomanovMartyrs! I wish I'd thought of doing that! Me and my sister have tons of those dolls lying around, but unfortunately no awesome OTMA-ish clothes to use.

If they're Romanovish dolls, you can never outgrow them.  It's a fact.

I agree, since one of the dolls is supposed to be from 1912. And I think they actually have a new one now from 1914... their outfits would probably work. And if you're creative you could even make your own. My grandma used to make me clothes for my American Girl dolls... I'll have to look around for them next time I go home to see if any are OTMA-like!

Well, I'm obsessed with Romanovs, cause I found my old princess crown from my toybox, and now I keep walking around with the crown in my head and imaginating I'm a GD.

lol.

Yes! :) The character Samantha is supposedly from 1904, and Rebecca is from 1914 (In her story she's actually FROM RUSSIA lol But sadly in the back of the book it talks badly of Tsar Nicholas II [Her character is Jewish and moved to America to escape the pogroms]).

A lot of her accessories are supposed to be Russian though. Like her brooch and shawl:

I find Sam's collection is more OTMA-like.

Especially this dress:

(You'll have to forgive me, I'm a hardcore collector of these dolls. ;) ).

Why do you mean by you can never outgrow them? That they're dead?
I'm brazilian and my english isn't the perfect thing in the world (as someone said this in another thread XD);
That's cool, Hilla XD.

No, it just means that you never get too old to enjoy it.

No hard feelings about the English.  My own mother's first language isn't English, so I don't mind. ;)
