Even better... you DO have your family's birthdays in your daily planner/cellphone calendar but NAOTMAA's are apparently more important! That's me!

Similar... YKYOWTR when it's spring though feels like summer and your grandparents always say (because it's still spring) that it's too early to put all the AC's in and you think "now i know how they felt at the Ipatiev House!" especially today cause it is HOT!

we lost electricity during  a heat wave last year and let me say it was a revelation .... It changes how one thinks of Ipatiev House. The physical and  psychological effects of such heat...without a a window...11 people and three dogs closed up in five rooms? It had to be torture. Particularly for Allx as she loved the cold! Her daughter's would complain about the chilly rooms she favored ( like Queen Victoria! )

I have heard of secondary smoke.....but it seems  there is such a thing as secondary Romanov  obsession.  Yesterday my husband said ," At the train station I saw a man who looked like the cook at Ipatiev House " lol!
