The Pavillions at Peterhof

Does anyone know what happened to the Reinella pavilion in the lower Alexandria park?  It was built by Stackenschnieder in 1846.  It was not far from the optical telegraph which was replaced by the Lower Palace.

Reinella Pavilion was built on the coast of the gulf near the bo undary of Alexandria park and  Znamenka park. This pavilion was completely destroyed during WWII.

It´s the Rose Pavillion, located in the Ozerky Park( I think it could be translated as the park of the lakes...).

On some maps of Peterhof, this is referred to as the Tsaritsyn Pavillion, or the Pavillion on Tsarina Island on Olgin Pond.

Hello Bob

The Tsaritsin pavillion of Olgin Pond is similar in design(both by Stakensneider), and i at first wasn´t too sure but this one is the Rose(Ozerky) pavillion, i checked that before posting.

BTW, last time i saw the Tsaritsin and Olgin pavillions(back in 2003) they were being restored so hopefully we´ll see the work finished soon...

In the caption of the Hermitage website, there is written "The Rose Pavilion in the Lugovoi (Meadow) Park in Peterhof".

Is Lugovoi=meadow?

Is this Ozerky-Lugovoi-Meadow park near the Olgin pond?

Is the building in the far distance the Belvedere of Babigon hill?

I think it was the palace of the Dukes of Leuchtenburg.
