Does anyone have any pictures or plans for the English Palace?

The Palace and its plan is shown in this very thread.  It is important that you go through the entire thread or do a search before posting a request like this.

When strolling the Peterhof parks, beware of predators!

This lucky otter was photographed on 14 June a few meters off the Monplaisir pavillion.

Hi Mike!

The photo is amazing :) so you must be quite quick with the camera.
Even if it looks lovely in the picture i think i shall be careful not to meet this kind of inhabitants of the Peterhof Park.
The first time i saw an otter "in person" i mistook it for an enormous rat, so i run away screaming, totally disgracing myself before my amused friends...
Thanks for posting the photo :)

Antonio.

Not me, the guy's name is Victor Varganov, and Peter Sobolev first posted it here.

Can anyone give me information (where it is/was, story, pics, plans, etc.etc) about the palace  of the Queen of Wurttemberg, ? I know it was in Peterhof, but I don't know where it was exactly.

Thanks

It is not a palace. It is a pavilion (3 rooms – 1st floor, 1 room – 2nd floor, 1 room 3d floor and open place – 4th floor).
Olgin pavilion was built in 1846 by A.Stakenshneyder on a small island in the center of Peterhof. Today it is a museum.

Many thanks for the pics!

Anyway I read somewhere Olga had an entire wing built for her, maybe near the Great Palace. Am I completely wrong?

She and her husband had a suite in the Great Peterhof Palace (Olgina polovina = Olga`s Apartment). Today it is a big room in modern style (1950th) - Concert Hall.

In the caption of the Hermitage website, there is written "The Rose Pavilion in the Lugovoi (Meadow) Park in Peterhof".

Is Lugovoi=meadow?

Is this Ozerky-Lugovoi-Meadow park near the Olgin pond?

The Meadow Park Pavilion:

Thanks for this info!

I think I know which room you're referring to. I think it is a pity those rooms were not reconstructed.
