'A Present From the Alexandra Palace' ?
« on: November 17, 2009, 03:14:22 PM »
saw a "souvenir" cup and saucer online that has the inscription  'A Present From the Alexandra Palace' http://www.rubylane.com/shops/desiresoftheheart/item/KJ0046
Does anyone know if it has any relationship to the palace?

First, the Alexandra Palace is an exhibition hall in London. [name after Queen Alexandrda, consort of Edward VII]
Secondly, the one in  Tsarskoe Selo is Alexander Palace. [named after Emperor Alexander i]
