Ugh, I can't stand Lady Gaga. She is a performer; she puts on a show but that's all. She sounds like computer manipulated trash. I can't listen to songs that have empty lyrics.

A real musician and my favorite is Elliott Smith. His songs actually have real meanings and lyrics that aren't empty and idiotic. So many people have never really heard of him unfortunately. The one time he really stepped into the spotlight was when he was nominated for a Grammy against Celine Dion and he played for the awards show. He died in 2003. If you appreciate real music go look him up.

Personally, I don't like Lady GaGa (but it's just my own opinion), but I have very eclectic musical tastes, one day I listen Bon jovi, Bruce Springsteen, the day after I listen classical music like Mozart, or Beethoven, and again, one day I listen Italian music, the day after I listen country music (that it's uncommon for an Italian)...depends on how I feel...

I like Classic as Gigliola Cinquetti, domenico modugno and etc etc, but i like heavy metal =P
