Hurt ??? I am happy ! Lovely pics ! Tatiana wore Queen Anne Marie's three brooch tiara from Queen Alexandrine of Denmark. The vision is simple, white and fab !

I must admit, no one can beat Vickys wedding. But it was a wedding from a non reign Royal family. It was okay.

Well...Tatiana is the next royal elegant star. Like Grace & Diana, she looks like a dream and had great taste. Vicky's is a more traditional and dynastic wedding, Nicky's one is the kind we can all aspire to.  ;)

I hope that Carina Axelson and Gustav (Queen Margarethes nephew) will marry. But the last will of his grandfather, don´t allow him to marry a commoner without money.

How terrible to confine someone not to marry without title or money ! He must be a horrible person.  >:( In this day and age. Look at the next set of Queens-to-be ! Mett Merrit, Mary Donaldson and Letizia of Spain !

Ofcourse, but "Stockholm" was a totally different matter alltogether Rani,it was the "Mother of all Royal Weddings",
and we all thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it didn't we.

This wedding was a warm and very relaxed event in Greece,a mix of the good life and the sunny second son of TM
and his truly admirable wife.Admirable because she managed to get Nick to the altar... ;D

I think that is what the people wrote at Greek Jewels thread. It was listed as Queen Alexandrine's gift to her granddaughter.

Does anybody know if the Duke of Aosta had been invited to the marriage? I mean he is a cousin of the King.

I don't see Prince Michael of Greece too...Father of Princess Olga of Greece, Duchess of Aosta.

Yes I know, but why did he has to choose ? If his grandfather loved him, he would not have dictated terms. It is all parental control from beyond the grave...Yuck !

and of course not all greeks were as happy to see one of the royal family choosing greece for his wedding.
some stupid made a complain about the platform that was raised especially for the event - and dismanled the next day! after that the family have to pay some 296.000 euros. but they are willing to take this to court.

There are actually 2 fines totralling 440 OOO Euro's
.
The fine has officially been given to the lamdowner of the property rather than the King.
The pltaform was up for some 5 weeks prior to the wedding yet the fine was only issued after the wedding and the fine was dismantled.
It is a deliberate attack on the King, his family and the good people of Spetses who are furious.
The politician is a know hater of the GRF, and he issued the fine knowing full well that the the Greek Police, various ministries, the Greek Secret Service and many other official bodies had authorised the function, the stage and where at the wedding.
His Majesty, although not being the official recipient of the fine, will vigorously defend and assist the landowner.

I think it is a bad thing to attack a wedding. God would be on the side of rightiousness, and those Greeks will ultimately suffer. What ever happen to hospitality and good will ?
