Hi Ilana & Arturo,

Ilana -
Pseudonymic - - another word with a silent 'p' - oh bless you....  Just what we need, another "spell check" button to push!!!  Ha, ha!!

Arturo -
Well, "Eurohistory Santa" - you're going to have to dye your hair white and grow a long white beard!!!  I'd love to see that picture!!!

Larry

Thanks, Larry... who says I'm not creative.

And, as Larry says, Art---the Eurohistory Santa -- er.  Good luck getting near the post office... perhaps the reindeer can pick them up !!
So long and thanks for all the fish

We have a nice post office here. Yesterday I shipped about 40 Priority envelopes – it took about 25 minutes from the moment I parked the car to when I left the post office.

Not bad at all!

Part of the problem is that people get to the counter unprepared, their stuff not ready and this causes backups. I used to be able to ship directly from our office, but after 9/11 it became a hassle to do so and now we have to take everything to the post office. Today I have to go and get stamps for all the remaining envelopes containing ERHJ LXXI, which began mailing on Monday.

When I get to the counter all our packages are ready to go...the staff at our post office always tell me they wish more customers were like us. Customers at the post office tend to be rather nasty. A few months ago I stood in line for about 20 minutes. Behind me was a lady (one of our neighbors) complaining to the lady behind her that "some people bring so much to mail, this is ridiculous!" When I turned around to greet her, she felt extremely embarrassed, so much so, that she left the queue and went away. Hopefully it served her right...

Yes... that's true, they do complain loudly while people are trying to work.  Believe me, as a person who worked in retail during college, etc., it can really get under your skin, especially if you ARE working as fast as you can.

What did this woman want people to do who had mail???

Sorry, I guess this is all off topic... but patience is a lesson we can all learn.
So long and thanks for all the fish

It's sold by Gilbert's Royal Bookshop. I can't find a direct link, but if you email Paul Gilbert he'll be happy to help.

Thank you! I was wanting a naotmaa calendar. I was thinking of making one with a blank calendar, but here is one already made!

The calendar was for 2009, don't know if he's making another for 2010 though.
