I've seen numerous pictures of the outside of the building but never from the interior. Is anyone aware of any or have any idea of the layout.

Thank you Svetabel. I do not speak Russian, but it sure seemed they were taking an almost archeological interest in the interior, especially in regards to the brick work and their markings.

It seemed like some work was going on or at least had been going on. Do you know if there has been any restoration work? Is there an interest to display or use the building in any way? I saw the video was made in 2010 and the interior was in a frighteful condition.

I have not find any sign that the building is fully restored. There is an office of the Kremlin Military Command in the Palace.
