Nikolaevsky Cavalry School

So I looked around in the topics and did not find anything on the Nikolaevsky Cavalry School. I am at a loss as to where to look for more information, such as where it was, photos, etc.
I know that most of the Grand Dukes attended this school but I have never seen a photo or even know where it was located in Petersburg

If anyone knows of a site or has some info, share it here!

The Nikolaievsky Cavalry was on the Lermontovsky Prospect in St Petersburg. The building (exterrior) is pretty shabby now, but I do have some phots I took there in 2008, which I will upload when I can work out how to.

There is quite a lot about the school in 'Russian Hussar' by Vladimir Littauer, which, I believe, has fairly recently been reprinted in English.

I would llike to know more too.  Is there any possibliity of bringing it back to ite original function?
