Brian,
You have been generous with your posts and I think a thread with floorplans is a great idea.  My problem is that I do not have a scanner so posting them is difficult.  However, I will try to make arrangements with friends to scan in some plans.  I would recommend that we move many of the existing plans to this thread to begin the library.  Hopefully, we'll get others to share their documents with us.

bob --
that's precisely what i had in mind.    with all the great plans already posted, and all the fantastic plans i know are still out there, it has the potential for being something fantastic.

i also want to add something else: i feel i should apologize for the rather confrontational tone of the original post.   after 2 funerals in less than 2 weeks, too much work and various other things, i was in
foul sort of mood.

i want emphasize that, in spite of my own views on the subject, i do understand and respect the decision of some to not post their plans.    it is, obviously, their choice and i should have mentioned that, instead of taking the holier-than-thou stance that i did.

in addition to that, i should have also acknowledged the position that many are in -- that of having no scanning capabilities.    only a few months ago, i was in the same position, and i should have mentioned that, as well.

also ---
ATTN: BobG --
whatever you're able to do will be very much appreciated & i sincerely thank you for the effort  :)    i also want to thank you for looking past whatever negative undertone my post contained, to see the bigger message.

i hope others are able to do the same.....

thank you.

Of the Hermitage Tsarskoe Selo, it appears that it is one of the buildings that is for sale as this site has floor plans for appartments:

I think it is the Russian Oligarch version of a new money suburban house. I hope they are. Surely the important properties sale list includes all sorts of historical accuracy clauses. A very pretty way to spend money.

If you're interested in plans of Luxemburg, Tuilleris, Louvre, Versailles, Palais Royal and others, go to http://ddb.libnet.kulib.kyoto-u.ac.jp/exhibit/f01/f01_4cont.html

Londo,
go to http://hydrogen.pallasweb.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Welcome;action=display;num=1095358587 for directions.  You'll probably need to set up an account in Photobucket (its free) and post them there and then copy the url to your posting.
Look forward to seeing your plans and drawings.
