Thanks for pointing that out Talya . . . I hadn't noticed. Yeah, I'm sure Nicholas II wanted to start a new "thing" - keep your daughters in a birdcage! Especially if they're adorable as my Tatiana is!
Oh my, she was so cute!! Now, I have a question - my hair is CURLY. And it is naturally like that - it had been all my life. But whenever I was one or two and I look back at family photos, my hair always stuck up around my face - sort of like an afro, except in a cute, baby way. You know, little ringlets. Anywho, Tatiana's looks really curly, like mine was, but did she grow up to have curly hair, or was it just in early years? I've never really been able to see, although I suppose there could have been some waviness in some of the photos . . . or maybe it was just the wind?
