What does that Cyrillic word in the right hand upper corner say? Either in English or transliterated?

It looks to me like meshepid' (transliterated), but I'm not great with Russian handwriting, so second opinions are welcome!

Well, thanks, Antonina and Sarushka. I was farther off than I thought in my about that word. I initially thought it referred to a locale for the photo, but now am inclined to believe it may be the name of the patient in question. You can see that there is a bit of similar writing just outside the border of this photo (and on one of the others) which may also be an identifier for persons in the photos.
As interesting, and maybe a harder question is, was that the writing of Olga, another of OTMA, or some hospital personnel, or added for identification by the collator of these photos much later? Hmmm?

Looks like it's from the visit to the Khersones archeological expedition, the dresses are the same as in those older rares. It's so interesting that there was another photo taken with Anastasia standing next to Mordvinov, who met Anderson and was convinced she was a fake.

LOL I made that picture years ago... I guess it was a good job. But it is irritating to see people claiming it to be some rare original.

I really dislike those photo shopped made up photos. Perhaps its the artist in me because they are rarely well done  They often look creepy even  scary. So often the sizes between fake and real are way off and do not match . However Ally, your work  is the exception to that . Yours are the only ones I see as art and are good enough to truly fool people. I always know your work in this regard . No one does it better....true  for much of Romanov photographic art
