The photo looks like a postcard which could have been distributed widely, but I've wondered whether it might be like the 1916 formal photo of Olga and Maria, lost somewhere in archives or collections and only recently discovered and made public; my small copy (dated 1915 in the description) was from a Russian site about this year's WWI centenary.
