When I was there last year it was all fenced off.  It looks as if they are either going to renovate or just trying to keep people out (or both).

IMO, The imperial station should be considered historically very important to the story of the imperial family in Tsarskoe Selo. I know funding shortages prohibits preservation of many buildings but to me, the station is exceptional and retaining it should be giving the highest priority.

Yes I agree, most of the pavillions and follies in the gardens at Tsarskoe have been renovated now. I wish the station would be next. It could be turned into a really interesting part of the museum.

Well, the pavilion interiors were actually rather grand. Not in my humble opinion feasible for reconstruction really, the fabrics etc. Notwithstanding, the ceilings, frescoes and etc should be done and preserved. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see the whole thing recreated, just trying to be realistic for once 😊
