We have two feet of snow--and it's not even Halloween yet!

it's been standard weather for October up here. It was pretty cloudy for the last few days and has dipped below zero overnight for the last few days.

I've heard on Tv that people on the East Coast in USA are in troubles because of a terrible snowstorm
Members of the east Coast, are you ok?

It's a period of daster, guys. 30 km from where i live a terrible flood has detroyed some towns & villages last Tursday. I'm quite sensitive to natural disaster, these days.

What a disaster (Bethlehem, Pa.) I work in a 10 bed group home for severely disabled people with MR. Lots of medical problems. Last night we had no power, heat, and the food was going bad. We worked in teams of three with one holding flashlights and the others changing, and helping the nurses. Our one generator was being used for feedings etc.  It is an awake (staff) at night house, so  between taking care of the clients, we sat in a circle and told horror and ghost stories.  The electric company is saying we won't have power until late in the week. Tonight I am taking winter woolies and my Nook.  This morning the outside of our facility looked like a war went on. Loads of tree are just split in half.  Lots of people singing the Lumberman song today. Not!  Hope things are good in your neck of the woods.
All the best,
Kitt

Winter is coming! We're supposed to get a few centimeters of snow overnight and reach a high of minus 6 degrees Celsius tomorrow Right now though, it is hazy and 8 degrees.

Oh, Sunny dear! I'll be thinking of you!  :)
Here it's gloriously sunny...if cold. If only such sunny weather could shine on such a sunny person as you, Sunny!   ;)

I'm thinking of you and your fellow Italians at this horrible time as well Sunny. When the wildfire that destroyed a large part of Slave Lake, AB hit earlier this year, I felt the same way you do right now. I can only hope that things get better for everyone and that this madness stops now. No more innocent lives need to be lost through Mother Nature's wrath.

It's been a cold couple of days here. Winter is definetly on its way.
