NAOTMAA, Faberge, and Japanese Anime!
« on: March 29, 2010, 03:56:41 PM »
I was looking up Nicholas II on Wikipedia, and as fate would have it, stumbled across this Japanese anime movie that involves NAOTMAA. It's called "The Last Wizard of the Century", aspects of the plot reminded me of of "The Kitchen Boy." I was a little perturbed at first when I watched it, but then I found it amusing, and I figured you would too:

(this is just the clip with the best part, to view the whole film look for the different parts in the side bar).

That's Detective Conan! :-D I love this anime! It's about a boy who solves criminal cases just like Sherlock Holmes. I think "The Last Wizard of the Century" is the name of the episode. ;-) I did not know this episode and it is pretty surprising that NAOTMAA is involved. Nice find. :-)

What a cool episode.  Although I'm going to be watching it in subtexts,  can't stand dubbed anime.  The English voice actors exaggerate their voices to the point it is annoying.  I blame my dub hatred on dubbed Sailor Moon.

Positive note,  I love they did anime drawing on NAOTMAA photographs.   :D
Beautiful faithful Nargony.

The anime versions are not bad.

I especially like the OTMA photo.

Olga and Marie pretty much look like random anime girls.

But Tatiana and Anastasia are very nice.
