I think we're having so sort of roast, it looks like pork roast.

I haven't decided yet - either kielbasa and saurkraut (with a baked potato for me since I can't abide saurkraut!) or pasta with chicken and alfredo sauce. My husband and younger son are at my mercy ... MMMWWWAAAAHHHHHHAAAAA!

Being ignorant here, but what is kielbasa?

Working late today, so tinned soup with rice when I get home.

kielbasa=polish sausage. It comes in one long casing and you slice it into chunks and cook it with the sauerkraut. I ended up serving the pasta alfredo last night and it got good reviews - there was enough left over for my husband's lunch today.

Thank you.

Sounds nice, but I'll join you in passing on the sauerkraut!

Some sort of beef stuff, which was made out of leftovers from last nights roast beef. Resourcefulness. Lol.

Cod, whole beans, fennel and pasta screws in an asparagus sauce here.
BTW do note that Russian got its word for cod, треска, from Norwegian torsk, through the Pomor trade, Поморская торговля. (The word for trade, торговля, derives from Nordic torg, marketplace.)

Берёзы севера мне милы,—
Их грустный, опущённый вид,
Как речь безмолвная могилы,
Горячку сердца холодит.

Hi,

4 of us were out last night to a Chinese restaurant, "The Peking Dragon" in Calgary - excellent food and lots of it...

Each ordered a platter:
1)  Sweet & Sour Soup
2)  Chicken Fried Rice
3)  Beef & Broccolli
4)  Creamed Prawns

I'm still stuffed.
