Which piece of clothing do you hate wearing
« on: April 17, 2010, 03:08:03 AM »
My choice goes to ties. I have about 200 but they are all in the closet gathering dust.  I do wear them from time to time but only under duress.

My work uniform. Uncomfortable trousers with no "give" in them and a horrid, thick cotton tunic with NHS emblazoned across the breast pocket....just to remind me who my masters are. Oh for the good old days when we were allowed to wear lovely, cool scrubs...grrrr

Why do you hate wearing skirts?
i take it  you are female and that your icon is not a close resemblance.

My choice goes to ties too, these are so annoying!, fortunately I'm forced to wear these just a few times during the year (just for weddings).

Shoes and socks!  I live at the beach in Southern California,  and the darned sand gets EVERYwhere.  Nothing worse than taking off your shoes and socks to find two decent sized mounds of sand each time ..

Ties kinda suck too ... just sayin' ...

Winter Coats! SO bulky and annoying. Actually any item of outerwear that has to do with winter. Boots, gloves - yuck. Although I do love scarves - they are fun!

Skirts. Despite being female I'm very much a trouser person. Tights make matters worse - they make my legs itch.

Another female here who hates wearing skirts and dresses... I am a life long tom-boy who, unless ABSOLUTELY necessary, refuses to wear either of those.

Me too. The Scottish enthusiasm for the kilt puzzles me (though the Olympic cyclist Chris Hoy looked mighty smart in one at his wedding yesterday).

I know what you mean, I'm 25% Scottish and my dad insists that my boyfriend wears a Kilt when (or if) we get married... and he wants me to wear an Aboyne dress... and if he thinks we're going to, he's out of his mind!

Oh, gosh...I loathe wearing jeans! They're very uncomfortable to me. I like shorts or sweatpants much better.

I hate wearing shirts with sleeves that only go part way down your arm (although I will on occasion) 'cause I'm always trying to pull them down further.
